Brannam Seahorse Charger

A superb CH Brannam charger dated 1900 with the monogram for Fred Braddon, at 26cm in diameter this beautiful executed piece of ceramics was featured in the Western Morning News.

Applied with coloured slips and incised with a band of seahorse designs on a cream background, this unique item will be available to examine at the market on Sunday 19th February.

At a price of £600 (including UK postage) this fine example of North Devon pottery will add style to any collection or make the perfect statement piece.

Our Sunday Antiques Fairs provide an opportunity to come and browse through stalls of antiques and collectables in the spectacular pannier market in the heart of the market town of South Molton, just off the North Devon link road, only half an hour from the M5. We have free parking in the town and there is also an excellent Café in the market that provides hot and cold drinks, with additional stalls providing local pastries and juices.

This lively Sunday Antiques Fair provides an opportunity to come and browse in the spectacular pannier market in the heart of the market town of South Molton, just off the North Devon link road, half an hour’s drive from the M5. An excellent Café provides hot and cold drinks with additional stalls providing local pastries and juices.

We have several new traders attending this market including a specialist banknote dealer. Interest in banknotes is particularly strong at the moment, with the forthcoming introduction of the new polymer £5 note featuring Winston Churchill. As with all traders he is very keen to share his expertise, give advice and offer free valuations. He is also keen to buy.

Other new traders include those dealing in china and glass. We understand that items include a silver and glass ink stand and scent bottles from the 1880’s.

One of our regular traders is celebrating 30 years dealing in and restoring antique furniture. He is offering a 25% discount on selected items. Come and see how you can enhance your home with a unique piece of furniture at a discount price!

One of our traders has a great selection of Murano Glass for sale at our next Antiques Market on Sunday 18th September 2016 in South Molton, Devon.

Murano glass is made on the Venetian island of Murano, which has specialised in fine glasswares for centuries. Murano’s glassmakers were renown for developing and refining technologies such as, crystalline glass, enamelled glass (smalto), glass with threads of gold (aventurine), multicolored glass (millefiori), milk glass (lattimo). Today the artisans of Murano still employ these centuries-old techniques, crafting everything from contemporary art glass and glass figurines to decanters and chandeliers.
