We have several new traders attending this market including a specialist banknote dealer. Interest in banknotes is particularly strong at the moment, with the forthcoming introduction of the new polymer £5 note featuring Winston Churchill. As with all traders he is very keen to share his expertise, give advice and offer free valuations. He is also keen to buy.
Other new traders include those dealing in china and glass. We understand that items include a silver and glass ink stand and scent bottles from the 1880’s.

Other established traders offer a fine range of goods and of particular note are those dealing in agricultural and garden items. Film posters, postcards, cigarette cards and other collectibles are hugely popular and the traders are very keen to share their expertise.
Items associated with the locality, ceramics, furniture, silver etc. are always very popular and it is always very satisfying when people decide to start collecting something. In addition to the sheer pleasure the items bring there is always the chance that they will appreciate in value.
In addition to free entry and free parking the market café provides an excellent range of sandwiches in addition to teas and coffee.
Situated 30 minutes from the M5 South Molton is an excellent place from which to explore further, to combine a visit to the market with a day out.
